Yesterday Intel held a press briefing to go over some of the PC client and mobile news from the show, but after the briefing Intel gave us access to their stage and camera crew to film our mobile show. I didn't make it out to Taipei until after WWDC, but Ian and Kristian have been on the ground all week covering the show. Ian joined me on stage for a quick recap of a lot of what's new in mobile. We went over Ian's experience with LG's G3, Intel's new Bay Trail Entry SKUs, the Rockchip deal, Core M, the WWDC news and a discussion about deeper gaming experiences in mobile.
Check out the show in the video below:

Some interesting discussion on mobile gaming.I think a small 8" Windows 8.1 tablet with a controller dock (clamp style) is an ideal on the go gaming experience. Something like a Cherry Trail device would allow you to do light PC gaming and load up your Steam account with all of your PC games. This way you have access to the entire Windows/Steam ecosystem, you only need to buy one copy of a game, and you can still play it on a desktop with higher settings when you're not on the go.

I think Ian might be on to something with the increased low light performance with the IR system. Contrast based focus must lose signal in low light, IR laser could care less (within there stated distance). Low light selfies and food pictures might benefit hahaMrCommunistGen - Thursday, June 5, 2014 - link

It's probably good for a "balanced" conversation, but Ian's constant Apple resistance became annoying. Just be happy for advancement in tech! I guess he is an Android user, and he also needs to balance Anand's Apple love. ;)webby7 - Thursday, June 5, 2014 - link
Does Brian no longer work at Anandtech?Klug4Pres - Monday, June 9, 2014 - link
Indeed, it's like Brian has been airbrushed from history. Very disturbing.tipoo - Monday, June 9, 2014 - link
I saw it mentioned somewhere that he had been considering going back to grad school, but I'm not sure if that's the case or what the arrangement would be if it were.Coup27 - Thursday, June 5, 2014 - link
Ian as a fellow Brit you haven't done us any favours. That was the campest "Hello *wave* ever!" :pIan Cutress - Thursday, June 5, 2014 - link
