Nanoxia Deep Silence Cases Officially Available Stateside

Ever since we reviewed the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 and Deep Silence 2 enclosures, they've essentially been setting the standard for what a silent enclosure can and should be at their respective price points. However, at the time of each review, those respective price points were largely hypothetical. They were targets, but Nanoxia was still in talks for Stateside distribution, and that had been the refrain every time a comparison to either enclosure was brought up.
I don't typically like doing news posts going "hey, this is shipping now," but the DS1 is a Bronze Editor's Choice winner and a highly sought after case. NewEgg is now officially taking preorders for the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 and Deep Silence 2, with a shipping date of April 10th for the DS1 and 11th for the DS2. That would be exciting enough, but Nanoxia seems to have priced the Deep Silence cases exceedingly aggressively. My conclusions had always been predicated on both availability and on Nanoxia hitting price points that seemed frankly pie in the sky, but as it turns out, the DS1 is up for preorder for just $109, and the DS2 is going to go for just $89. At those price points, both cases are going to be incredibly tough to beat in the market.

More competition in the chassis space is good news, I think!I hope Nanoxia produce mATX and/or mITX cases.

Just checked today, and the ds1 is not even listed on newegg, even though it was listed yesterday. The ds2 is still available though. I was planning to buy the ds1 today, and now im sad. Any idea whats up?Jbni - Saturday, May 4, 2013 - link
Is there actually any way to get the Deep Silence 1 in the US? They showed up on NewEgg, then sold out in about a day, then were listed as Discontinued.Nanoxia used to list Microcenter as a distributor, but no longer does (and Microcenter no longer even has Nanoxia fans in the catalog.)
This is ridiculous.

Very ridiculous! I had been in contact with a Nanoxia rep and by checking everyday I preordered one from Newegg. I got one, and yes, it is fabulous- the only case that is so quiet that I can sleep with it on next to my bed. I wrote the first review, there was one other guy who said he had trouble with the pop up i/o then figured out he stretched the cable too tight. It disappeared after that. The rep told me they are trying to work with Newegg but doesn't know why they have been discontinued. Chalk this up as a tragedy- my only suspicion is that it's too good? Why buy anything else good, like the 8800 GT was in it's day?emperius - Tuesday, July 23, 2013 - link
Outrageous. To this day, it is still impossible to find it not only in the U.S. but on the internet. QuietPC.com (UK) but I don't know whether they have them available, even still it is off the roof in shipping.
