Humble Indie Bundle 4 Available
by Andrew Cunningham on December 13, 2011 6:00 PM ESTThe Humble Indie Bundle team today launched the pay-what-you-want Humble Indie Bundle 4 just in time for the holidays - the bundle included WIndows, OS X, and Linux versions of Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, Super Meat Boy, Shank, and NightSky HD, while people who contribute more than the average payment (currently sitting right above $5) also get Gratuitous Space Battles and Cave Story+. Buyers can split their payment as they wish between the game developers, the Humble team, and the American Red Cross and Child's Play charities.
Since the first Humble Indie Bundle was posted last May, pay-what-you-want bundle of indie games have become exceedingly common - counting special bundles featuring specific games or developers, there have been seven Humble Bundles since the first one, and that doesn't even take into consideration bundles from folks like IndieRoyale and GamesAid.
These bundles are unquestionably great deals for gamers, who can get $100 worth of games for a hundredth of that price if they'd like, and it gives developers a chance both to foil piracy without using DRM and reach audiences that might not normally buy their games. I do sometimes worry that these bundles have the potential to undercut indie developers not included in them, and that they may reduce the pool of people willing to pay full price for the games - however, if these potential downsides exist, I haven't heard any evidence of it yet.
Once purchased, the games can be downloaded from the Humble Bundle site or via Steam. A gift order option is available for thrifty holiday shoppers.

I'm glad to see another one, and will likely pick it up (I've been waiting to catch a good sale on Gratuitous Space Battles, and it'd be nice to get a few of the others non-Steamed), but I'm disappointed that donating to the EFF is no longer a option. I thought it was a good fit, and it a group I was happy to support.Oh, well, guess that means the developers will get a little more, instead.

"We are supporting @redcross this time due to a close vote among the HIB4 developers, @eff should return in future promotions though"https://twitter.com/#!/humble/status/1466555752902...

Penetration Testing A standard penetration test is a way for scientists to get an idea of how resistant the soil in a certain area is to the invasion of water. The tests conducted on the sample are usually unaffected by the disturbance of the soil. Penetration Testingalisha amelia - Friday, April 26, 2013 - link

I'd say it's worth it just for that aloneAlso funny that the Red Cross is a donation option, first thing that came to my mind is all the non-sense of violent video games being war crimes. Yeah, like I'd donate to that non-sense.

Absolutely this. If anyone hasn't yet played cave story, it's a good time as any to pick it up.DanNeely - Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - link

Mud Race in kentucky Mud bogging, also called mud racing or mud drags, is a popular form of off-road four-wheel drive truck racing. A long narrow pit of slippery mud is prepared beforehand for the trucks to plough through. There are different types and lengths of mud bog tracks; most are flat, while some have hills and holes. The winner is determined by the distance traveled or by times if the full length is covered. Mud Race in kentuckyrpmrush - Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - link
Cave Story wouldn't install due to .dll issues. Still have some forums to search through and I'm sure I'll get the right .dll in the right directory. Have about 30 steam games including Skyrim and prob about 20 non steam games. Never had an install issue.
