Promise FastTrack/FastSwap IDE RAID Controller

The individual high-end application tests show than the RAID 0 system can yield definitely noticeable performance increases of up to an extra 5MB/s during sequential transfers.  Applications that don't make heavy use of sequential reads/writes such as Microstation, a CAD package, will actually perform somewhat slower on a striped RAID configuration.  So be sure to weigh your needs wisely before pursuing any sort of RAID solution.
