As part of Intel's Datacenter summit, we were given an opportunity to sit down with Lisa Spelman, VP of Intel’s Data Center Group and General Manager of Xeon Products, about the new processors. Over the course of 22 minutes, we touched on the new platforms, some of the new features, the progression of the different product families such as 3D XPoint, how Intel is implementing hardware fixes for side channel attacks such as Spectre and Meltdown, as well as some discussion about Intel’s new generation: Raja Koduri and Jim Keller.
